I was trying to look at some strings on my phone, and while the site did load fine, it felt like I was spending more time hunting around than actually comparing products. I don’t mind browsing, but I hate feeling like I’m wasting time when I could miss out on the right item or a better option.
The menu felt kind of cluttered on mobile, and I had to tap through more pages than I expected. Prices and options weren’t always easy to spot either, which made me a little hesitant because I didn’t want to accidentally overlook something important.
Overall, the site works, but it’s not very smooth on a phone. I’d probably use it again if I already knew exactly what I wanted, but for casual browsing, I’d worry about losing time or missing a better deal.

I had to exchange a set and, to be fair, it did all get sorted in the end. The return instructions were clear, so I wasn’t sitting there completely confused or anything. The only annoying part was that replies took a few days each time, which made the whole thing feel slower than it probably needed to be. I kept checking my email in between doing random stuff around the house, like reorganizing a drawer I definitely didn’t need to touch. Overall, not a bad experience, just not exactly speedy either...

I checked swstrings.com against a couple other sites before buying, and the prices seemed fair tbh. I didn’t get that annoying feeling like I was being overcharged, which was mostly what I cared about.

Overall the value felt solid. It wasn’t like the absolute cheapest thing I found, but the quality matched the price well enough, so I was good with it.

I’m giving it 4 stars only because I would’ve liked to see a few more deals or bundle options. Still happy with my purchase tho, and I’d buy from them again.

I ordered from swstrings.com and, to be honest, I was kind of expecting the strings to show up in some flimsy mailer or something. Maybe I was overthinking it, but the packaging ended up being better than I expected. They came in a sturdy box, so nothing was bent or crushed.
Everything inside looked neat and protected, and there wasn’t any shipping damage that I could see. It’s a small thing, I guess, but I do notice when an order feels like it was packed with a little care.

The strings themselves were fine, and ordering on the site was easy. But the shipping felt kind of steep for such a small order. It was one of those things where the price looked reasonable at first, then by checkout the goalposts had basically moved and the total didn’t feel like such a good deal anymore. Not a terrible experience, but I’d probably only order again if I was buying more at once.

I bought a student violin from SW Strings i’m kind of impressed. Like, why do some beginner instruments feel like they’re held together with hope and glue? This one actually felt solid right out of the case. The wood looks nice, the setup was clean, and it doesn’t have that cheap, buzzy sound I was worried about. My teacher even said it was a good pick, which made me feel a lot better about buying it. So far, no complaints at all — just a really solid violin for the price.

My order was mostly correct, but one item wasn’t what I picked. I checked the email receipt to make sure I hadn’t messed it up on my end, and it definitely looked like just a small mix-up. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning

I rented a violin from swstrings.com for my daughter and it went smoothly. The website was simple enough to figure out, and the violin arrived packed really well with no damage or odd surprises.
We had one quick question about the rental paperwork and they got back to us fast. The violin is in good shape and sounds nice for her lessons. Im happy with the whole experience and would definitely rent from them again

I wasn’t totally sure a setup would make that much of a difference, but my violin really does feel easier to play now. The strings sit nicely, there’s no buzzing, and they got it back to me quickly. i’m happy with how it came out.

They’ve got an okay selection of strings, but I couldn’t find a couple of the brands I normally use. I asked about it and kind of felt like I was being passed from one person to another without getting a clear answer. I did end up finding something that worked, but the choices weren’t as good as I was hoping.
